Thankfulness to Fulfillment of Prophecy - God unto God
My loving Father, the day is done and I’ve been in Your House with Your people…my family …and we are gifts to each other, Father. Our stories and testimonies of how You have loved us and been kind, forgiving and understanding. We were made to fellowship with You, and with the body of believers. We see your goodness in all Your people. How wonderful the habit of gathering to not only hear Your Word, but to encounter Your Son as the Word dwelling among us and in us. How Your Spirit goes through our hallways, and walkways, aisles and stages and gyms. You are with us and saying “Yes” and “Amen” unto fulfillment to Yourself in every song we sing, prayer we offer up, and scripture we breathe.
Thank you for Your mission to Earth, that You humbled Yourself to be among us and loved the whole world and all who dwell therein. You don’t limit yourself to a certain people or language. In who you are as unfathomable and limitless, You put your arms around the whole world and pulled us in. You came to fulfill the promises written by the prophets that You will continue to bring a reversal of destiny to those who encounter You. More than physical healing, or renewal, more than miracles witnessed. My eyes see the heavenly realms of angels and clouds and light with greater expectation. My ears are ready to listen to Your Spirit and music of Heaven that rejoices I’m His. And my heart is not hardened but the chains of its hold on the flesh have been broken and cut away.
Forgive me Father when I cast down people as not being worthy of your saving. When I am angered that you would offer forgiveness to the worst offender. Remind me I’m the worst of them all. No one is past the touch of God. Remind me to pray for my enemies and to love them so they will come to a saving knowledge of you. Save the woman who killed my friend with her car. Help us remember you change lives, and you are giving new life daily to those who repent and turn from their sin filled ways.
So now we know how to live, Father, and our eyes are fixed on You in this message of Salvation, and communion with You. We know you are good continually even when things aren’t good, when we suffer in health, needs, and pain. The power of faith in You has given me wisdom to see beyond what is now and live in the tension of what is promised. Your beauty drowns out the mulling of pain and discomfort and gives me peace. One day it will be over. Until then I trust the hand of my Maker.
Thank you Jesus, the Worthy one to open the scroll and fulfill all that has been told. In Jesus name, and to the glory of His Church, Amen.
