The Sovereign God who Reigns to Redeem
Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the Earth and everything in them. You have power over it all, from the largest planet to the speck of dust. Galaxies and vastness of unknowns. Yet you see me God. Your creation, and one that carries your breath and image. I can’t hide from you, your eyes search the earth looking for those whose hearts are committed to you that you may strengthen them. Everything feels chaotic right now like we’re flying out of control in the world and our lives. Our health fails and our children need attention; our families need help, and our jobs stretch our stress levels with demands and challenges. Countries war with each other. Remind us of the blessings, and that you are the one who sustains us in what you have allowed us to face. Help us to fix our attention on the joy of your saving grace and presence with us.
