Born again Holy Spirit filled Child of God

Oh my Father, what a day it has been to be in your house. To hear Your Word burn a truth within us that lights our way. The oil of gospel grace that sends beams of sacred light through your Church first, God, and then to the rest of the world. May we shine in joy and holiness, knowledge of truth and love for the other. May these beams touch the darkness around us and reflect back to your throne of which this light commences. Thank you God you did not cling to your throne as a right, but you physically stepped into our world as the Shekinah glory that opened the eyes of sinners who needed you and blinded the religious who thought they already had God and lived perfectly. You have given a renewed knowledge according to the image of your perfect self, and you are teaching me how to live. To sow in the Spirit and not the flesh that is drawn to sin. You put the axe to the root of my sin and grant me newness of life in each day you give. You are teaching me how to worship you, God. In purity and in beauty, costly things as a sacrifice worthy of you and your Kingdom. I lift my eyes to your cross and receive gift on gift on gift. The living hope that gives healing, salvation and faith, righteousness, restoration and relationship. You have etched in my heart your name and claimed me your own. What darkness and sin dare linger near this deep love? This love provokes me to confess my trespasses so I may receive your forgiveness. I confess my selfishness, and judgement of others, of not loving people you want me to love. You have chosen me God, set me apart in this world, strengthen me to do the work you have before me. Revive in me dreams and goals, to be fearless in following you. May others see and know the difference is you in my life so we may shine these glory beams back to you and give you the praise for what you have done. We will speak of and remember who you are God and what you have brought us through and will continue to. Our eyes are on you, God. To the glory and honor and love of our Jesus. Amen.
